The design of the buttons has been done to fit the holes on the Caroler blow mold as close as possible, however it is possible the holes on your Caroler mans vest or jacket might be slightly larger or smaller, based on use or wear on the blow mold.

If the buttons are a bit loose, simply add a dab of plastic glue to help hold them in place.

If the buttons won’t push into the hole easily, do not force them, as you could easily snap off the plastic pin back. You will need to use a small drill bit to open the button hole ever so slightly, and try again.

Given the button pins break easily on the original factory buttons and the replacement 3D printed buttons, due to the small diameter of the pins original design, you might want to consider a small amount of glue to help hold the buttons in place.

• Add a drop of plastic glue such as E6000 or Loctite Super Glue for plastics, onto the back of the button, and place in the button pin into the button hole.
