Mrs Claus Glasses (Santa's Best)
Factory Color is not available 3D printed, hence glasses are printed in a goldtone color.
NOTE: I have a limited amount of colors available in the factory size as I am phasing out the colors and size options. Refer to the color chart to choose available stock in custom colors.
First picture (lighted) shows the glasses in Black.
- Factory Width - Being phased out
- New width is 1/2 inch wider than Factory
[Wider width aids in ease of installation of the glasses].
Mrs Claus Glasses (Santa's Best)
Given the glasses (including the original factory glasses) are 3 pieces; you will have to assemble them, which is easily done.
1. Orientate the left and right temples such that the stop “bumps” on the temples are facing downward on both the left and right side.
2. Insert a drop of plastic glue such as E6000 or Loctite Super Glue for plastics, into the temple hole on the back side of the lens frame.
3. Insert proper (left or right) temple into the hole and push in firmly by hand, insuring it seats securely in.
4. Wait 24hrs for the glue to dry completely before installing the glasses onto your Mrs. Claus.
The design of the glasses has been done to the size of the original Mrs. Claus glasses as close as possible, however it is possible the holes on your Mrs. Claus ears might be slightly larger or smaller, based on use or wear on the blow mold.
a. If the glasses are a bit loose, simply add a dab of plastic glue to help hold them in place.
b. If the glasses won’t push into the ear holes easily, do not force them, as you could easily snap off the plastic. You will need to use a small drill bit to open the hole ever so slightly, and try again.
